Ricky ponting (born 19 dec 1974) his nicknamed punter. he is finest right hand batsman , slip or close fielder and   as well as ocassional right arm bowler . he debut his first class career with tasmanian tigers when he was just 17 years old , debut his test career 28 dec 1995 vs srilanka and odi career 15 feb 1995 .he scored 96 runs in his first test match.
                         he involved in 152 test matches and 352 odi and scored more than 25000 runs ,leading scorer of australian cricket team and third for most runs in odi . due to his amazing batting he scored 39 centuries in test matches and 30 centuries in odi matches .he remains the great australian captain of all time with 48 victories  in test  out of 77 matches. he regarded as the best batsman in the era speacial he knows for his best hook pull short
