He is known for his six against india in 1986 where 4 runs are required out of 1 ball. he has remained coach of pakistan cricket team at different occasion.s.JAVED MIANDAD started his test debut against newzland at lohore in 1976 and odi debut against west indies at birmingham . he played 124 test matches scored 8832 runs and he played 233 odi matches scored 7381 runs . he made 23 centuries and 43 fifities in test matches with an average of 52.57 until it was broken by inzamam-ul-haq. javed maindad is one who appeared in 6 world cup tournament other being a sachin tendulkar.
